OPERATION CHECKLIST

FUEL LOAD CHECKLIST

Divide the distance to your destination airport by 2.0.
This is the aprox amount of fuel you will use in gallons.
Add 60 gal for landing and reserve.
Fill both WING tanks FULL; load remaining fuel in CENTER tank.

Empty Weight = 11,700 lb.
Pax + Baggage = 1,300 lb.
Zero Fuel Weight = 13,000 lb.
Fuel Weight (Full Tanks) = 6,030 lb. Max = 6,030 lb.
Take-off Weight = 19,030 lb. MGTOW = 20,200 lb.

Max Landing Weight = 19,200 lb.
Max LW Fuel = 197 gal = 1,300 lb. = 21% of Total Fuel.
Fuel Weight = 6.7 lb/gal.
Fuel Usage (FL450) = 158 gph. = 1,062 pph (M0.77) aprox.
Max Flight Time = 5.0 hrs.
Max Range = 2,200nm @ FL450, M0.76, 436 Ktas.
Min rem fuel = 42 gal. (277 lb)

ENGINE STARTUP CHECKLIST

1. Parking Brake ON.
2. Turn Master Battery switch ON.
3. Auto-Start BOTH Engines. (Ctrl + E)

PRE-TAKEOFF CHECKLIST

1. Load Flight Situation, GPS Flight Plan.
2. Flights (+) East = 000-179' are FL370.
3. Flights (-) West = 180-359' are FL350.
4. Flight Time = Distance / 420
5. Arrival Time = GPS ETA + 12 min.
6. Set Radio ILS, VOR, ADF and Fuel Load.
7. Set A/P IAS to 245.
8. Set A/P ALT to initial cruise altitude.
9. Set Pitch Trim UP 1 Notch. (+15)
10. Set FLAPS 8.
11. Set GPS\NAV Switch as needed.
12. Set Altimeter. (29.92)
13. Set Nav, Strobe Lights ON.
14. Set Sim Clock to T/O time.
15. Release Parking Brake.

TAKEOFF CHECKLIST

1. At T/O time, go slowly to Full Throttle.
2. Rotate at 130 Kias.
3. Set climb pitch angle to 10 degrees.
4. Set A/P Master Switch ON.
5. Engage IAS Hold.
6. Engage A/P ALT Hold.
7. Click NAV Hold to engage GPS course.
8. Raise Gear, then Flaps.
9. Set Climb Rate to +3,000 fpm.

CLIMB CHECKLIST

Below 10,000ft. = 250 kts., +3,000 fpm.
FL100 to FL200 = 315 kts., +2,000 fpm.
FL200 to FL300 = M0.73, +1,500 fpm.
FL300 to FL400 = M0.74, +1,200 fpm.
FL400 to FL510 = M0.76, + 800 fpm.

CRUISE CHECKLIST

Maximum Initial Cruise = FL350 or FL370 with Full Fuel.
When aircraft weight <17,000 lb.: (<4,000 lb fuel remaining or <597 gal)
For Max Range: Climb to FL450, M0.76, 436 Ktas., +800 fpm.

Long Range Cruise = M0.76, 436 Ktas.
Normal Speed Cruise = M0.77, 441 Ktas.
High Speed Cruise = M0.78, 445 Ktas.

DESCENT CHECKLIST

For FL350, TOD = 115nm.
For FL390, TOD = 125nm.
For FL450, TOD = 135nm.
Engage IAS Hold.
At TOD, Set A/P IAS to 190 kts.
Decrease A/P Altimeter setting to 5,500 ft.
Set descent rate to -2,000 fpm.
Slow to <250 Kias, passing 10,000 ft.

APPROACH CHECKLIST

1. Maintain A/P ALT Hold.
2. Set A/P IAS to 190.
3. Set FLAPS 8, (<250 Kias)
4. Set FLAPS 20, (<200 Kias)
5. Set GPS\NAV Switch to NAV.
6. Set CRS and HDG to Landing Rnwy HDG.
7. Engage A/P APR Hold, capture Localizer.
8. Capture Glide Slope from below.

LANDING CHECKLIST

1. Set Pitch Trim UP 1 Notch. (+15)
2. Set FLAPS 40, <150 Kias.
3. Put Landing GEAR DOWN.
4. Arm SPOILER. (Optional)
5. Use A/P APR and IAS Hold.
6. Set A/P IAS from 140 to 150.
7. Disengage A/P APR Hold at 400ft AGL.
8. Maintain A/P IAS Hold until after TD.
9. Retract FLAPS and Set TRIM to neutral.
10. Go to idle power and taxi to terminal.
11. Park aircraft and note time.
12. Set Parking Brake.
13. Shut Engines OFF. (Ctrl, Shift + F1)

POST-FLIGHT CHECKLIST

Log flight time.
Check remaining fuel.
Finish Flight Report.
